Special congratualtions to Akio who is on his way to Stanford University, California, this September, after receiving offers from 16 top universities.

Akio is set to pursue a bachelor's degree with a focus on genetics and biology, and a double degree in economics, with a specialisation in healthcare economics. In an interview with the National, he commented, “Getting to college is not something that defines me and is not my end goal." Instead Akio has already published research papers on one of his life goals, which is to cure coeliac disease, a condition that he has had since childhood.
