The British School Al Khubairat welcomes applications throughout the academic year. All applications received will be added to the relevant waiting list.
In circumstances where there has been an overwhelming number of applications received for a specific year group, admissions for that year group may be closed for the remainder of the academic year.
As all lessons are given in English, The British School Al Khubairat requires that, on entry, children should be able to communicate in English at a level appropriate to their age and development. Placement of students from Reception to Year 10 is in line with the National Curriculum of England and Wales cohorts. Our Year group guide contains further details on which year group your child will enter.
To find out more about the admission process for Sixth Form (Year 12) entry in 2018/19 please contact the Registrar, Karen Collings,
Applications for Sixth Form places are considered, provided the student achieves the relevant grades for entry to our Sixth Form.
The application process begins with the submission of an online enquiry form. Priority is generally given to sibling applicants, followed by British passport holders.
Students from all other nationalities seeking a British education are very welcome to apply; indeed there are currently around 50 nationalities on our roll. We welcome applications from children showing significant aptitude or talent.
Applications for Nursery places are considered, provided a child is three years of age before the start of the academic year. The academic year runs from September 1st to August 31st of each calendar year.
Priority Nursery applicants will be invited to attend an induction morning before joining, to help them settle and to aid teachers in placing children into classes.
