The British School Al Khubairat is a staunch supporter of independent inspections. We bring in independent inspectors from the UK on a regular basis.
During March 2011 we were inspected by the UK’s Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), a body approved by the British Government’s Department for Education to inspect independent schools in England and key British Schools Overseas. The British School is the first school in Abu Dhabi to be inspected under the UK government’s Standards for British Schools Overseas.
ISI ranked The British School Al Khubairat as ‘Excellent’ in all categories of the report – the highest possible score – with the inspectors remarking that the school was outstanding in several areas.

The school’s previous inspection was in April 2008. It found The British School to be a "very good school with many outstanding features", and "the quality of education provided is very high". The inspection was carried out by Penta International, a leading independent provider of educational training, consultancy and inspection services in the United Kingdom and globally.
