'Friends' is the parent group of The British School Al Khubairat. We aim to provide a social network for the school community.
The main objective of Friends is to welcome newcomers into our community, especially families who have recently arrived in Abu Dhabi. To help us do this we have 'Contact Mums (and Dads)' for each class who offer new families as much or as little help as they need, giving information about shops and leisure facilities, or meeting up for a coffee and a chat. Friends also arrange various fundraising events. Getting involved with Friends is one sure way of meeting teachers, other students and parents throughout the school, as well as creating an instant social circle!
